Africa
We work in four countries in Africa, each with different types of projects to meet the varying needs there.
Despite being one of the most modern and stable countries in Africa, many children in Kenya are vulnerable to hunger, disease, lack of adequate medical care and education, and exploitation. Our projects rescue girls and boys one at a time and give them hope.
Zambia has suffered much from the HIV/Aids pandemic and more recently from a terrible famine. Many children have either been orphaned or abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Our projects are designed to get them out of the cycle of poverty.
Despite being the world’s youngest country, South Sudan is one of its most problematic. In-fighting and lack of stability have caused disease, hunger and lack of medical care. Many of the children we rescued had turned to the streets to survive, with some having been victims of unspeakable abuse.
Sudan is sadly one of the most politically unstable countries in the world, ravaged by years of civil war and hunger. We have rescued 50 or so of the most vulnerable children from the capital city of Khartoum and provided them with food, education and lots of love.
