House of Hope Children’s Home

Having witnessed the extreme neglect and abandonment of Romanian orphans, a Romanian lady called Camelia Cismaru started the House of Hope Children’s Home. Having initially brought four babies out of terrible conditions to her own home, a larger house was constructed and now cares for up to 10 vulnerable girls.

There are two family-style units with loving house parents caring for the girls while they learn, grow, and prepare for a bright future.

Fortunately, the conditions for state orphans in Romania has improved in the last ten years, but House of Hope stands out as an excellent option for these children to experience the love and care of family life.
