Waiting to have a new family and a new home

A poignant moment: This young lady catches a last glimpse of what will soon be her "former home," expectantly awaiting the arrival of the mentor-turned-foster family who are about to welcome her as their newest family member.

It can be quite a journey for the girls we serve at our Oasis Centre in Guatemala, as they transition from our care into that of a loving family, who they have been mentored by and got to know over a period of time.
